101 Things in 1001 Days

I stumbled across Mackenzie Horan's beautiful blog Design Darling a while ago and have been an avid reader since. One of my favourite things on her blog is her 101 things in 1001 days page that she has maintained throughout all 1001 days, working towards the completion of all 101 things. While her date has now past, she completed many of the items on her list during the time & has written about creating a new list of 101 things for a new 1001 days. I was very much inspired by Mackenzie's list from the moment I first saw it and decided that I wanted to do the same. While I didn't really have time to sit down and come up with a list of 101 things I'd like to do in the span of 1001 days during the semester, I figured Christmas break was the perfect time to draw up a list. Once I decided to create the list over Christmas, it only made sense to begin the journey of self-discovery and self-improvement (which is what I hope this list will inspire myself to do) on the first day of a brand new year (because the new year just feels so much like a fresh and new beginning). 

I'm really excited to start this journey. 1001 days seems like such a long time, but I'm pretty sure 2016 will be here before you know it & I want to make the most that I can of those 1001 days that stand between then and now.

  1. You'll be so surprised at how fast your time goes! I am 1 month away from completing my 101 in 1001! But, I definitely plan on making a new list because I loved the experience!
